It's too early to say DB is great maybe in another 3 yrs that will be determined, but is that really the issue, I think the guy is worthy of a Canelo fight and its what people want, greatness doesn't come into that....

Its an easy fight for Tim I just cant see Fundora not getting beat up, 6' 5" and fights like he is 5'8" not fast and not a lot of power and he gets hit clean.

Not now he isnt.
Apparently they have been in talks with TC, and TC got to be mandatory all set up, add Tim talking he wants TC and then all of a sudden Manager mentions Spence, it looks like Tim people would rather sidestep Crawford for another possibly broken name, obviously TC is not...MulaKO likes this.

Thurman is a much better boxer than Fundora, everybody was writing him of because of inactivity but on sheer ability, Fundora is nowhere near as good as what KT was.Jayallday9 likes this.

Watching Fundora fight Ocampo I think Tim is going to go through him like a dose of salts, stoppage inside 6 rounds, his defence is not much and he gets hit clean, he leans in, not a fast puncher nor a hard puncher, I just think Tim will blow him away.

Its not the same disadvantage, they just don't dry out as much and can train heavier coming up they are always stronger it doesn't hurt them, the guy coming down is always at the disadvantage just some its minimal and others they are weakened a lot depending on the individual and how close to the edge...

Oscar Sturm reminded of Canelo Bivol only youre right Oscar lost that, Sturm was very underrated and similar style to Bivol....Feroz likes this.

Its resulted in a general public screaming for Canelo to fight him, pretty much every known fighter is vocally calling Canelo to fight him, he may not have the great accomplishments but if his targets wont fight him how is he to get them, I guess you could say he is greater than Munguia.

What did Marciano do, he would be slaughtered in the modern era, Floyd could fight and be great in any era, your post makes no sense to me at all, the USA has always been the center stage of world boxing they all want to be on top there, if that's where you are why would you go elsewhere....

I look at an ATG as in terms of can he be great in any era, Id say Oscar would do very well in any era of boxing, he had power speed a killer instinct and no fear.

Its more the eye test I feel, its the same deal with all the high praise on Ennis the eye test, DB is more accomplished just needs the big fights I think he has earned a Canelo fight no problems.

Meet in the middle is a CW, as soon as you contract a weight that is under the divisional limit its a CW. The higher weight guy must come in lighter than he normally does meaning he is handicaped.
I think it should be if a lower weight guy wants to move up and fight a higher weight guy...

Greats don't need warm-ups they just perform, if Tim wins go straight into him....Gillie likes this.

If it made sense he would, its no different to fighting the top liners he did fight, Im not interested in woulda coulda shoulda because that mentality applies to every great fighter to ever lace them up.
As I said from the start Boots has not fight a single A grade fighter, not one, and...
