  • Which hes doing this year

Prince Turkey, Warren and Hearn run boxing now. The rest are on borrowed time....

  • I'd say that footage had to have come from Floyd or someone very close with his permission.

That footage is years old. If it was any old hanger on in the gym that had the footage, then you can bet it would've been leaked a long time ago. So that footage had to belong to someone in the very...

  • This is true

I remember in lots of interviews at one point he mentioning how Ward really lost to Kovalev despite the decision. Whilst I actually agree, you could see Floyd was driving the point home so that Ward wasn't seen as a great undefeated fighter.

    Floyd is very insecure....

  • Turki replied to Tank "I'll send you two boxing gloves"

no doubt the Saudi's are down for a novelty fight if its big, but guys like Tank are not worldwide stars. If Tank wants money from Turki, he's gonna have to fight a top opponent for sure....

  • Eddie might be a snake like all promoters but he keeps his fighters active if they're willing to fight, that's one positive about him. You don't often see a Hearn fighter sat on the shelf for over a year unless its them causing it....

  • I'm sure he would

That said, I'd tell him to fix thar horrible flaw he has of pulling back with his chin very high. So many fighters have caught boots flush because of it. None of them had the hand speed of Garcia either.

If boots doesn't improve on that, Garcia would certainly...

  • Haney because I dont really see him avenging that loss if they fought again.

Teo simply got his tactics wrong. I was about the only person on here that said Kambosos would be a problem for Teo if he fights too aggressive. Kamboses is very good at punching with aggressive figures and can...

  • Incredible power? No, he just dropped a shot Prograis with sharp punching. He dropped him once in round 3 and it went the distance....

  • I think Haney got busted up worse, his jaw looks broken

Crawford vs Spence was more one sided though in terms of the overall fight. It looked like two completely different levels of fighter.

hes always been a bit of an oddball.

  • Ryan vs Teo would be a good one!

Not really bothered about the Tank rematch. I do think Tank is the better fighter and also he's simply not gonna fight at a weight Garcia is comfortable or without rehydration clauses. So do we need to see it again with all that in mind?

    I think...

  • I think Garcia will always have his number.

Haney hasn't got the power to keep him off or the chin or defence to not get rocked or dropped.

I'm the first to say power isn't everything, but if you haven't got the power to keep your opponent honest then you better have a defence...

  • Another Amir Khan?

I'd say Khan maximised his potential. He wasn't unprofessional, he lived the life and did as best as his talent allowed him to. He was a quick handed but vulnerable fighter, not the greatest ring IQ, hence poor foot positioning at times leaving himself exposed.

  • Honestly, if he was about an inch closer to Haney, that left hook in the first round ends it. It still buzzed Haney but it never landed as solid as it could.

That was the punch that had most leverage but it only half caught Haney and he was still shaky....

  • Benn is nothing more than a domestic level fighter. That's why they've only out him him in with guys that were fringe contender 12 years ago and have no power

Forget Garcia, if I'm Hearn, I'd use Benn as a springboard for Boots.

Benn hasn't got a high ceiling, he's never going...

  • Good call

I thought Haney would do enough to win, although I did say on a thread yesterday that Garcia winning wouldn't be a shock to me at all as I don't put a Haney on the same level as Tank. Regardless of how Tank's career is handled and opposition, I think he's the best of them all...

  • Lol some boxing "fans" are a joke.

Haney is a good boxer. Garcia is a very dangerous fighter, he will give many good fighters problems with his speed and power.

nothing fake about Haney unless people thought he was some elite talent, which he's not. He's just a solid...
