Would be a good sign for him if he can sell that out. His style is can't-miss, but him leaving for Mexico is probably part of the reason why he hasn't got that push to be bigger than what he is in PR. Hope he can make up for lost time with another great performance and build himself up some more. Paro...

Matias is a top guy and a world champion with a highly entertaining style to watch, but he hasn't been promoted as well and doesn't seem to possess the charisma that Zayas displays in and out of the ring that appeals to the people of PR. On top of that, Matias is already 32 while Zayas is barely 21....

These lower divisions are heating up now they're actually getting more exposure on TV in the US over recent years. Any mix and match of those contenders/champions at BW is a good fight. Gotta stop the disrespect with those weight classes. Too much skill and talent down there for them not to be displayed...Knuckle sandwich likes this.

"A little mental" is an understatement. Dude is the typical social media baby of the highest extent. They better put him on suicide watch if Haney puts it on him bc he's definitely gonna be a victim of the firestorm of criticism coming his way if he gets handled. Can't blame anybody but himself...

Dam boy give em some time. Lol. He's only 21 on the verge of being a solid contender if he can pull off a win against a former champ. He is clearly being groomed to be the heir apparent to the PR throne and they're moving him carefully. He definitely has the skills and the character to be that guy....

A true man can give credit to the greats before him so credit to em. As disputed as that Lomachenko fight was, it really coulda gone either way being that there were alot of swing rounds in that fight IMO. But Haney has shown continued improvement throughout his career and his masterclass of Prograis...

Agree completely. Zepeda-Baranchyk is the main one that came to mind. One of the wildest fights I've ever seen and my only thought was that if there was a crowd for that fight, they woulda been going absolutely nuts with what a crazy shootout that was. 8 KDs in 5 rounds and one of the brutalest KO's...

I agree with the most of the first part of your statement. However, in regards of the atmosphere, it does matter IMO. Hard to get hype when theres nobody else around to get hype with during the fight. Even some of the fights in the bubble during COVID that were really good fights felt kinda dull bc...

That royal money musta gave him amnesia. Forgot everything he said before he saw all those zeros at the end.

That royal money talks and all that other BS walks. Not a big fan of all these big fights going over to Saudi Arabia, but if they can make em happen, f#$% it. Better than them not happening at all. These promoters are getting dogged by the prince and they just bend over and take it for those M's. L...

He wouldn't improve even if he had God in his corner. Dude has always had that "land one big right hand" mentality his whole career and never cared for anything else. Ain't nothing anybody can do about that. He literally spent all his fights losing rounds until he lands it. Age wasn't the...landotter likes this.

This is probably one of the more interesting matchups here being how both performed in their last fight. Ball coulda got the nod against Vargas despite all the disadvantages he had against him and Ford showed some serious heart coming from behind against Kholmatov to stop him in a really competitive...lefthook2daliva likes this.

After the loss to Dogboe, Magdaleno been terribly inactive and has slowed down and regressed since. Figueroa is there to be hit, but the type of pressure he puts on is bad for a guy who has been inactive and probably gonna be rusty going into this fight. Regardless, should be an intriguing clash of...

I get what you mean to a certain extent. I haven't watched the pre-fight build up due to how brutally cringe Garcia has been(Haney to a far lesser extent), but it must've gotten personal for it to go that far. As annoying is it might be at times, Big Haney knows how to get people talking and young Haney...

I get where you're coming from. But everything you stated is part of the business. When you win and hold all the cards, you hold all the leverage. They've done what they're supposed to do in their position and have been making big moves while in their position. Their business acumen will really be tested...

Hard to argue this point. Their business acumen has to be praised being that they're promotional free agents most of the time and still manage to reel in big name promoters and fighters to deal with them and score big paydays consistently. That headline is wild, but with the way the old man allows the...

Algieri on point with this one. Normally, a guy like Haney would be a high-risk low-reward for other guys to wanna fight him even with title belts. But somehow, his old man has found ways to entice top guys to step in the ring with him and make it worth their while. They might be tough to sell to the...
