  • I have my reservations about Hrgovic but I think this matchup favors him, he will probably be able to use his length and keep DuBois at distance with his jab and occasional straight right....

  • I like Zhang in this one. Wilder sounds like a fighter with one foot in retirement. Aside from the mental aspect, Zhang has a very good chin and is fundamentally sound. I expect him to avoid Wilder's big right and launch a well-timed left in response.

    Zhang by stoppage....

  • I think very highly of both fighters. Very skilled at boxing in different ways, Beterbiev carries concussive power and Bivol has an excellent command of distance and timing.

Not sure who will win, I favor Beterbiev slightly but I do wonder if age will catch up at some point and I'm always...

  • At this point, I think Top Rank is guiding Torrez in a similar manner that Matchroom handled Babic: feeding him limited opposition that he can blow out and placing him on undercards to excite the crowd.

I think Torrez is obviously more skilled than Babic but I'm not sure his career arc...

  • I had it 95-95, I was fine with 96-94 either way. I expected Efe to stop Guido. It's not there I thought highly of Ajagba, I've just never been impressed with Vianello. The Italian was lucky to escape the Ibeh fight without a loss.

it was an entertaining scarp. Guido impressed me with...

  • The Martin fight exposed a lot of flaws. I think TR and Jared's team expected him to steamroll Prince Charles. After that fight, they've given him a few soft touches with mixed results. The legal issues can't be helpful in his development as a fighter or TR's confidence in his future.

  • Not a bad undercard. As much as I dislike DAZN's commentary crew, I'd rather them over Bradley, Tessitore and Kreigel....

  • Went the distance with heavy handed Lerena and stopped in 11 by Goulamirian. I still think Big Baby will probably get him out in the early to mid rounds....

  • Huck and Krasniqi are names that I feel have been around for two decades...and as I look at their fight profiles, they debuted in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Long careers in a tough sport....

  • Eh, some thought that, I certainly didn't. Probably those that thought that hadn't seen Ajagba dropped and hurt multiple times by Kiladze, look lost against Rice and then look lethargic prior to the stoppage win against Cojanu. Efe hadn't looked good leading up to that Sanchez fight and his progression...

  • I remember when he was with Main Events and then did his own promotion. He had quite a few fights on HBO...anyone remember when El Feroz fought Winky and Vargas' ring entrance? I think it involved white tigers and Fernando in a cage...

    Anyway, RIP Gary....

  • The Sanchez/Kabayel fight is pretty interesting. I lean towards the Cuban Flash but what happens when he gets hit hard by someone trying to win? What happens if the Cuban faces adversity? Frank has a tendency to coast in fights and that might haunt him as the level in competition increases.

Regardless of however he looks post-workout, I don't see KingRy beating Haney unless he somehow lands a perfect punch....

  • I rate Sanchez high but he has a lot going against him. No fanbase, not a fan friendly style and a promoter who hasn't done him a lot of favors in terms of activity or meaningful fights.
