Whether Haney would be the same fighter or mentally same is virtually untrue. He is tough as nails and is mentally strong as they come.
Now physically; That’s purely subjective. It’s an opinion and not a fact but only time will tell whether he will recover from that beat down....

Well you might as well get used to it because it is the way the world. When a fighter is hurt; It’s natural for them to hold on for dear life.
C’mon man! Fighters have been doing that from the beginning of the sport. All fighters hold when they are hurt. It’s a natural...real raw likes this.

That's true but Haney can't punch and lacks a good chin. However, Ennis can punch and does have a good chin. Besides, Ryan is now a scarred fighter. He is afraid of getting knocked out.
He no longer believes in his punch resistance or chin. Which is why he is constantly trying to implement...

That article and Keith Thurman's asinine comments were both laughable and didn't make any sense. If Devin Haney didn't have any survival skills, then how in the Hell he was able to get up every time Garcia dropped him to the canvas?
In addition, why couldn't Ryan put him away or stop him...

You can call it a cherry pick all you want but the fact of the matter is; That reward had more than outweighed the risk. In addition, Outside of Tank; Who else could he have fought at 140 other than Ryan Garcia in order to make that type of money?
In addition, how did fighting Ryan Garcia...

So goddamned fuckin' what? At least Devin displayed the championships balls, heart and fortitude in order to finish the fight on his feet.
That's more than I can say about Ryan who quit by taking a full ten count on his knee and by deliberately not making the 140 pound limit for fear of...

I disagree. Devin has the will power and heart of a true soldier. He took his bumps and bruises like a true champion would without quitting, making excuses and was still fighting back. Once he returns; He'll be even stronger than before.
Who I worry about is Ryan Garcia, That fight with...real raw likes this.

If it was an inside job then he could have easily DQd Garcia for fighting dirty and refusing to engage by turning his back to avoid getting hit by Devin.dan-b likes this.

The irony is that none of you all said that when he refereed the Spence/Crawford fight.
He never gave Spence a chance. He stopped the fight while Errol was still on his feet.

jas, that's what happens once a fighter dares to be great. They take on all comers against high risk fighters like Ryan Garcia. Haney didn't need to take that fight but he wanted it anyway. Now what about bitch ass Canelo? Where's his balls? Why won't he dare to be great like Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney...

You are alright bro. I'll eat my slice of humble pie. I was wrong. I just don't how he couldn't seem to neutralize or see Garcia's left hook all-night....

I'll go one further. Go let Ryan bust a nut in both your mouth and asshole! Dumbass!...

Yes they are scored like single point deductions. If a fighter is winning a fight 9 rounds to 3. Then the final tabulation of the scorecard is 117-111.
However, when you factor in Fighter A knock down; Then you deduct a single point from him. For example in rounds; I had Devin winning eight...

The truth is Ryan needed a knockout in order to win that fight but he didn’t get one. Which is why he should have lost.
One cannot take rounds off, fight only in spurts, hold and refuse to engage by turning their back on their opponent and just winning a fight on three knockdowns....

If he is so fake then why couldn’t Garcia put him away then? No the only one who should retire with no chin or balls is Ryan Garcia. He displayed that against Gervonta Davis.

Only on fight night my friend but not on the scales; Where he is largely gaunt and dehydrated for cutting too much weight. He doesn’t cut corners or take short cuts like Ryan did.
It was gamesmanship on Garcia’s part. He tricked Haney into fighting him by saying it was for his...

LOL, The dirty motherfucker deliberately tipped the scales as a welterweight because that was his best chance of winning the fight.
He never had any intentions of fighting Haney on an even playing field. He knew if he had he would have gotten his asswhooped.
However yet and...Last edited by champion4ever; Yesterday, 05:26 AM.

So you award a decision to a man who runs all around the ring without engaging, holding and turning his back on his opponent.
So what are the seven and eight rounds in that fight did you have Garcia winning? The man fought only in spurts. However, I do give him credit for the three knockdowns...

What a fight? A very good fight but I did not have Ryan Garcia winning it.
That fight should have been ruled.a Draw at best. Can someone please show me where Ryan won more than 5 rounds please?
My unofficial score was 113-111 or eight rounds to four in favor of Devin Haney;...Last edited by champion4ever; Yesterday, 05:00 AM.
