Even on TV, the production counts for alot.
Some of PPVs felt bigger on HBO because of the production value down to a "small" detail such as Lampley, Max and Jones all wearing a tuxedo for PPV fights as opposed to a regular HBO boxing card.

Boxing has to be the only professional sport which has no shame to admit openly to its paying customers that the "best won't be competing against the best".
