I agree totally. More money in a Wilder fight. I do think Zhang wins, but there is an outside chance Zhang just matches up better with Joyce and fails against anyone else. If Wilder wins- and he only wins- is by fun KO. Than AJ gets paid and extra "0" on his paycheck over a fight with...

People forget that had Benavidez been disciplined enough to make weight for his fights, Canelo would have had to go through him to get all the belts. Instead, Benavidez lost his position of power to the scales. He has shown better discipline, but he is not getting the Canelo payday because he blew it...

I respect any boxer who picks himself up after losses. DuBois has done that. Good on him. But Hrgovic has everything to lose here, and has his whole future on the line. He NEEDS this fight. I can see this going 12. But I think the fundamentally sound and focused Hrgovic hurts and controls a flawed...

I worry more about the NBA than the NFL. There is a level of "we do not need anyone" with the NFL, who prints money, does not need to reveal to the public their actual profits, and are building overseas revenue without outside help. The NBA is shakier. Very much an international game, ratings...

I 100% believe this will be a completely different fight for Wilder. I am sure of it. i was cheering for Beterbiev to drop that title and go fight Bivol anyways. Let the fighters pocket that sanctioning fee and let...

A once great fighter who I wonder has anything left to even be good. This fight can only show if he is bad. A convincing win can get him a decent money fight based on his name alone if that is what he wants. But a lackluster effort may tip he is just cashing in on his name for a check or farewell...

I think the right man won an ugly but somehow still fun fight. It was better than the main event.edpboxing likes this.

This. All of this. He is plan, flat not that good of a boxer. He has skills, but that means not a lot as you move up in the ranks. Everyone has skills. What does this guy do that makes anyone think he contends at a top level? Hell, I think a Chisora or Whyte beats Anderson even in their declining...lefthook2daliva likes this.

I have no idea how I feel about him. He seems like he could a guy you could cheer for, but it also feels like he is gonna waste whatever chances he has. Running from the police is a seriously dumb decision....

I sometimes have zero idea how to handle Fury, which I think is Fury's goal so I am playing the fiddle in his band....
