  • It's a shame they didnt capitalise on this fight to promote LGBT inclusion in boxing

Orlando Cruz actually got a lot of pink support from the LGBT community when he fought for a world title vs Flanagan...

  • We think it'll have more success with the television networks and major promoters. They're always wanting to do anything for the image of inclusion, as many corporations do.

There's a petition coming, targeting ESPN firstly.

There actually was a ring boy on the AJ v Gary Cornish...

  • Not sure the boxers will go for that! Plus the LGBT community want to remove the stigma of perversion, I don't think willy size on the tale of the tape would really help.

then again, weigh ins kind of prove there's a lot of at least bi curious boxing fans. A load of men watching men in...

  • How can we make boxing more LGBT friendly?

In a society that's become more and more inclusive by the year, it seems boxing is becoming left behind in its this manner. The LGBTQ+ community is way under represented, or at least lacks support and solidarity with the community. Especially now there is a lot of investment from the middle East where...

  • Russia is both Eastern Europe and Northern Asia.

They compete in European sporting competitions as the capital of Russia is geographically in Europe.

Beterbiev is 2 times European amateur champion you dummy

Bivol was the u22 European boxing amateur...

  • I think that'll be first fight on the card, so it's ok. You never know, these kinda fights sometimes turn into a war.

I can't see how any of the other fights are not entertaining. Not only are they good competitive match ups, but they also should be very entertaining.

    its great...

  • Beterbiev tried to avoid Bivol for years until he got offered Saudi money

Beterbiev joined DAZN in 2018. Matchroom and DAZN signed Bivol to try to make a unification. Beterbiev quickly left as soon as Bivol joined so he could get easier unification fights.

    Check every Arum...

  • sparring is sparring. Dillian Whyte was running around saying he dropped Fury in sparring, he ended up flat on his back in the fight

Eubank Jr apparently gave Groves a pasting in sparring but got complete schooled in the fight.

It means nothing, Fighters are often at very different...

  • Its clear that Bivol fights to the level of his opponents. The better the opponent, the better he fights. Some fighters are like that....

  • Betebiev doesn't get so tired because he can dictate most things.

Fighting bivol is another thing. As I said in my above post, Bivol is the best in boxing at distance control and can set a high tempo at the same time. Beterbiev could be made to work far harder for success than he's used...

  • I kind of agree. I don't think it would be a clean easy knockout though...

But Bivol is the best in boxing at pure distance control and sets a very very high tempo when he chooses to. Its one thing being 39 years old when you can dictate everything against Callum Smith at your own pace....

  • Wilder is shot to bits and Zhang is a big hypejob lummox like I always said he was.

One of them is getting knocked into retirement or at least out of the Saudi scene.

I guess the winner will probably get one more fight over there and be used as cannon fodder for someone el...

  • Americans don't do well in any divisions where the men are above the size of teenage girls.

Heavyweight is dominated by Europeans and has been for decades, cruiserweight has been dominated by mostly Europeans for ages now. Light Heavyweight is now dominated by Russians. Etc etc.

  • I think Haney has a style that's difficult for most fighters but I do think he's been flattered by some wins.

He lost to Loma in my opinion, but lets say Haney won, I still think Loma is on the slide and naturally much smaller.

Kamboses is only good if you are the aggressor...

  • Good fight.

I thought Ball just about beat Vargas with the knockdowns and should've got the decision.

He's a hard fighter to contain once he gets into the fight as Vargas found out in the last half of their fight

If Ford struggles with his pressure early, it could...

  • Has Ammo got the better resume?

I'd say it's pretty even. Mytrofanov was a bit more highly ranked than anyone anyone Ammo has fought thus far. Well you could say he's about similar to Rolls.

Liam Williams is probably the best name on both resumes but hes shot to bits and his...

  • I'm looking forward to that one

I think it's fair to say Hrgovic's performances in his career so far haven't really shown he's as good as people say. He's been a bit lacklustre.

we know Dubois is a bit of a quitter but I think its still a good chance for Hrgovic to look good....

  • Thats a good point

Hearn pretty much said last week that there's a little chance of Fury versus Joshua this year if Fury beats Usyk because he expects them do the rematch because those too much money for them not exercise the clause. Plus the Saudis want Fury vs AJ in Saudi eventually....
