Inoue isn't a mentally ill, alcoholic, serial rapist moron not taking the opponent seriously like Mike.FinitoxDinamita likes this.

It's his best win for sure and it doesn't hurt. But context matters. Mike Tyson lost 6 times but only Buster Douglas took the lineal championship off him....El_Mero likes this.

Mandatories stacking up quickly already.
Charlo is WBA Champion-in-Recess
Bohachuk is WBC interim
Crawford-Madrimov winner will be WBO interim
Maybe they could match Bohachuck with Murtazaliev for the IBF strap and get one of these mandatories out of the way so we can...

That's not how it works.
Lomachenko vs Lopez was for the lineal championship. Lopez won, then Kambosos beat him, then Haney beat him, then he moved up in weight ending that lineage. A 143 pounder beating him at 140 has nothing to do with his former lineal lightweight champion status....El_Mero likes this.

Lopez is a two division lineal champion.
Haney is a one division lineal champion.
Davis is a zero division lineal champion.
Garcia has never even won a world title, let alone a legitimate lineal championship.
It's Lopez all day.El_Mero 99problemz like this.

Spence.
Haney won most of the rounds, he just kept getting caught and dropped. A well deserved L on his part but he didn't get completely blown away.
Spence was beaten comprehensively and in every way.Spray_resistant likes this.

You can't even read what he wrote. You're defending a wifebeater who is begging to get a belt back without fighting for it, after he went two years without defending it....

He didn't ask to fight the winner. He asked for a free belt and for the winner of the fight to be demoted....Teetotaler69 likes this.

Opateia was born in Australia and Parker was born in New Zealand. Having Samoan heritage is one thing but it's not the same thing as being born in Samoa or fighting out of Samoa.
Bivol's heritage is Korean, Moldovan, Kazakh, and Kyrgyzstani but he's considered Russian because he spent the...Last edited by famicommander; 04-20-2024, 01:49 PM.

No, he isn't. He had a better year than Crawford did for sure but Crawford is lineal king of 3 divisions. Inoue has to move up to featherweight and become lineal there to match Crawford....

It's been two years since he made a defense and the WBA #1 fought the WBA #2.
There's no defending his behavior. He literally tried to get a world title belt by asking for it. And he asked for another fighter to be demoted simply because he said so....

On the one hand, I think Garcia should be getting professional help instead of fighting.
On the other hand, if you step into the ring you leave your excuses on the outside and you live with the results forever. I don't care about physical injuries, mental health issues, new trainers, short...

He literally wrote a letter to a sanctioning body asking to be gifted a belt and asking for a reigning champion to be demoted. Instead of just fighting Madrimov or Crawford himself....

It's close.
Inoue:
2 division lineal
2 division undisputed
4 division world titlist
13-0 vs TBRB/Ring top 10 ranked opposition
13-0 vs current/former/future world titlists
Crawford:
3 division lineal
2 division undisputed
3 division...
