They wont always have more one punch KOs, since a lot of that is timing and speed as well as power. Marciano had such short arms he had only one way of fighting, getting close by crouching underneath and beating them up inside. Like a swarm of rhino bees. His one puncher power was career ending hard....

Foremans book, marcianos book, Alis bookÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂà¦. (Off the top of my head).
I believe Ali was 6.7 lbs if I recall correctly, although he apparently grew very fast and was walking at 10 months. Foreman and Marciano...Last edited by them_apples; Yesterday, 09:41 PM.

Yeah, and I stand by it. Marciano had a cunning mastery of punching technique.
he has completely shut off his pulling muscles. He does not pull his punches whatsoever. Meaning he follows through with the most conviction imaginable. You can watch it yourself.
and his deliberate...

he is clearly just slow. When he is responding it’s obvious he doesn’t understand any of the arguments other posters are making. So he gets frustrated and calls people names. Always look for a persons response to see how well they can understand things. Ascended is lost...

They took growth horemone?
turns out I can back it up: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-...s/syc-20376730
just look up the symptoms of premature birth. Metalbolic issues arise which would...Last edited by them_apples; 03-26-2024, 02:18 PM.

Thats actually sad that you find it funny rather than insightful. I am curious why it baffles you so much. The deception of his style is not even something he made up, its an age old long lost boxing skill. I could list others who did the same thing.
Its embarrassing that your response...Last edited by them_apples; 03-26-2024, 02:08 PM.

Marciano and perhaps Ali.
Marciano always beats Louis because no matter how much of a licking Louis can dish out, Marciano can very likely take it, but Louis wonâÃÂÃÂt be able to take his. Louis would have to stop him on cuts. Which is a possibility, as a young Louis...Last edited by them_apples; 03-26-2024, 12:27 AM.

Did Nicolino Loche have a bad right shoulder?
Loche, he is predominantly a left handed fighter and rarely throws his right, and when he does it’s not a very hard shot.
however, Loche has masterful skills and technique. His jab and left hook are beautiful. His slick timing, balance and footwork are all displays of mastery.

I agree lewis looked awful in that fight but it looked like it was heating up. I think Vitali would have made it to the finish but he may have caught some heavy leather on the way there.
Lewis legs aren’t geared for swiftness. He walks duck footed. Ali on the other hand has the best legs...max baer likes this.

I am here to show how much better old boxers were, to clear the delusion many hold that athletes just automatically get better with time for no reason. As you know I love boxing and spar as much as I can. And in my personal experience, I study these old guys and can see they were much better fighters...

Yes meaning, they were getting a different type of impact on the brain and its causing different effects. A quick short shot to the chin drops someone, a hard one to the canine of the jaw might knock you cold. The angle and leverage point is whiplashing the brain and spilling some coffee. Marciano is...Last edited by them_apples; 03-25-2024, 11:28 PM.

This is an odd perspective considering most of those guys ended up sleeping and injured. If he exhausts them first to connect a perfect shot that would make sense. Its not always easy landing the perfect shot.
because he is short armed and not fast on his feet Marciano had to find ways...

Gonna be honest I don’t think George actually did much damage to Ali. I’m sure his arms and hips were sore, but Ali protected himself very well in that fight.
I believe Ali took the most damage in frazier 1, Frazier 3 and his fight with Shavers....
