Keep slipping the punches which are gonna be mostly jabs by bobbing your head and when they keep missing their jabs from your slipping, you keep jabbing to the body/face and when you get close enough, throw hooks and uppercuts.
It's not easy, so it'll take time.

Fradycat, im still here brother. This is EXIGE.
You wanna get on the inside? Ok flick the jab. You can do it with mean intentions or not... I would say not really, if your aim is just to get inside. Remember that getting inside can only be done in certain circumstances... its easier to get inside when the opponent is on the ropes. Ok so you have thrown the jab, and presumably stepped in whilst throwing that like you are meant to. At this point the opponent has probably just stepped back. If thats the case just step in again and you are on the inside. The jab is the most effective tool for getting inside. Because as you throw it the chances are they wont try and fight you they will try and run. Now this is where the next part comes in handy. As you have thrown the jab and getting ready to step in make sure you are doing loads of head movement. Shadow box it first. But for instance; jab, roll and step in. The jab stops them doing anything, the roll stops them from hitting you as you step onto the inside, and the step in puts you right next to them. As soon as you are there just unload. I would say body head is the best way.
Hope this helps, this is what I do. If all else fails. Feints will come in handy. But remember, perhaps the most important thing is the head movement as you are stepping into their body space.

when shadowboxing, practice slipping to your left, and skipping in with a left hook. im guessing you have a good left hook if you have a good left uppercut.
if all fails you could just fight cheesy, tie your man up repeatedly and he'll keep pushing you off him if you fight better on the inside than he does...When he keeps doing this his shots will be weaker and him, much more tired.

Move forward continuously at a high speed so that by the time they "dance away" youre in their grill.
