Same here, I feel depressed sometimes too. Best absolute way to feel good for a run in the morning, listen to music while you run. It will motivate you and make you feel good.

Hatton, I know exactly how you feel. Something might be wrong that you might not have thought about. Your quality of sleep has a lot to do with how you wake up in the morning. Sleep comes in stages, as I'm sure you know. In the morning, your body should already be in the "Waking up" stage. If it isnt, then your sleep patterns are off for some reason. Answer this: Do you have any breathing problems? Asthma, bronchitis, nasal infections, allergies, anything like that?

you gotta do it for a week or so straight and then after that it will be pretty automatic and you will be pissed off if you miss a run day...trust me. When I first started running I was tired as hell for the first week or so then I got into a routine and now I am mad on my hangover days because I am unable to run.

Best thing to do is to not think about it. The second you wake up, just hop out of bed and stand up. Then you'll be ready. But if you wake up and don't get up right away, then the bed feels more and more comfortable with every second, so just hop out of bed and stand up right away, easiest thing to do.
