  • Daily lockdown workout routine

    New to the forum, from Ireland myself. All clubs and sports closed so here is my daily workout routine. 28 years old Amateur 6'1 105kg.

    x 100 knuckle push ups

    x 100 sit ups with punch

    x 50 5kg kettle bell squat

    x 50 5kg kettle bell squat + raise

    x 50 5kg kettle bell side lunge

    30 seconds raised leg ab scissors

    30 seconds elbow to knee side crunch

    30 seconds raised leg ab scissors

    30 seconds elbow to knee side crunch

    x 60 fire hydrants (30 each leg)

    x 60 side leg raises (30 each side)

    x 60 bear crawl steps (30 each leg)

    x 60 knee to opposite elbow whilst in plank (30 each leg)

    90 seconds plank

    60 seconds side plank (30 each side)

    At least 4 no of 3 min rounds on the heavy bag each day (try mix up power & speed) & throw at least 100 punches or so per round.

    Some days I do six rounds and other days 8 but I try peak and do 10 rounds on the Saturday.

    Whats everyone else's lockdown routine if you have one?

    Awesome work. Iíve been exercising pretty much all my life. At this point Iím 34, so I exercise every other day and do some good resistance training. Monday I did 50 muscle ups, 50 front levers, 50 hanging leg raises, 50 windshield wipers, 50 crunches, 50 dips and then 100 reverse lunges. Today Iím doing rows, shrugs, push presses, leg raises, lateral/ Cossack lunges. But I always do a solid warm up. I havenít boxed in forever. Miss it like crazy. Keep up the great work.

      Run, lift heavy weights, and hit the punching bag.

        6'0" 195 pounds / 62 y/o

        With a 12 pound weight vest:
        10 pull ups
        Jump rope approx. 7 minutes /2 songs on the MP3 player
        25 burpees Double up on the pushups
        10 pull ups
        15 with the ab roller
        100 sit-ups with a 10 pound medicine ball
        10 ~80 yard wind sprints/ backwards then forwards with a stretch in between.
        15 with the ab roller
        10 pull ups

        I don't have a heavy bag and the gym is closed

              That's a pretty good routine to follow.
