10-11" is average for a 6' tall grown man. 12" is a big hand measurement. 13" is huge, and 14" is ****ing enormous. 15" is Sonny Liston freak level. I don't think I've even heard of anyone under 7' tall having hands bigger than 15". Are you sure you're measuring right?

Mine are about 12" and they look pretty damn big on my 5'9" 185 lb body. I do have pretty big wrists too which saves me from looking like some kind of clown.

Anyway if your wrists are really that big, all the power to you (ha ha pun intended). You will probably hit like a mule kick when you learn to really punch.

I wasn't bull****ting when I told someone on this board a few months ago that I have big-ass hands. I have broad palms and big steelworker knuckles so they don't look disproportionate until I shake hands with you. And I do believe that it helps me hit. I also have 36" sleeves and a 30" inseam, so I've gotten "knuckle-dragger" comments since I was about 15. I wear long sleeves a lot and dark shirts, which helps. I'm just built weird. Fencing was the first sport I found where having super-long arms and powerful hands was a big bonus. Boxing is the second. If my legs were longer I'd have made a great wide receiver.

Agreed, 15" knuckles is freakish. Jon, does your family have a history of acromegaly?

I didn't measure my fist, but I'm guessing it's around 11 inches or 10 or something.

Your hands get a bit bigger if you put on a lot of weight, but besides that, you're stuck with them for life.

i dont know if your measuring your fist properly buti have 13" fists at 6'5 240lbs and foreman had 13.5" hands i believe so either your measuring wrong or your a bit of a freak at 15! (no offense)

large fists are less likely to break when you connect with an opponent so they are definately a good thing
