  • Boxing Gym

I am about to join a boxing gym that as far as I know is 20 australian dollars entry and has: A Ring, Some bags, Gloves, headgear ect. speedbags. Im not sure about anything else but I think the classes are group and the trainer walks around and helps each person (It could be one on one or not many people there or a lot of people there). I would call them but its 8 30 here and I only have the guys that runs it cell phone number. From this information does it sound worth it? I will give information about it when I go in two weeks.
    thanks

If I'm right, that's about $25. That's monthly or yearly? What do you mean by entry? Just signing up, you have to pay?

Seems good. One trainer with everyone working at a station, that's how it is with my gym. Just make sure, it's not a fitness boxing center. It should be a boxing gym, no pink 3 lb. dumbells

Check one thing out though. Find out if the trainer has had any experience being a pro and more importantly, if he's trained and made pro boxers or high level boxers who've won stuff. But I remember reading that you said it's hard to find boxing gyms where you live so either way, you should join.

I was checking out some gyms for Canada and I came across this one in Australia. Is is the KO Productions or something? Here's the link.

Its 20 bucks entry, yeah I have the problem where I live right near the city and all the boxing gyms are over in the outer suburbs which is like a 2 1/2 hour train ride (maybe im exagerating) and there is no way my mum can be bothered going out to there so as long as its not a fitness gym I am quite happy. I'm not sure about the trainer training pro's but he takes it pretty seriously if you do so depending how far I want to go he might even get me into the amatuers (In about 2 years though)

Why do you guys have to pay to train at boxing gyms?

here mate if you lived where i did youd see that you have a luxury because at least you know where a gym is, over here its much much harder and when i do find one it seems to close down due to low popularity
