Human growth hormone increases inside your body when you do fasting. When you eat, HGH goes down and insulin goes up. Insulin decreases when you don't eat and HGH goes up. The two are inversely proportional. its totally possible to build muscle while doing IF.

Intermittent fasting as boxer?

I sparred one time during a fast. Had nothing except for creatine. I went into it that day not knowing I was gonna spar. Thought it was a regular gym day, but most of the time for us sparring isn’t necessarily planned.
I did like, 2 rds and I almost threw up hahahahha.
Could’ve been the creatine, but creatine doesn’t upset my stomach normally like it does most people.
