    My conditioning is really poor. I thought of an idea to combine running 2 miles and jump rope 20 minutes into the same workout as my kettlebell for conditioning purpose. Dumb idea?

        Not sure but it’s high. I’m in the process of losing it but I’m 5’10 and 98kg. Could this be what’s hindering my conditioning and performance as well? ( footwork, speed, etc.)

          Yes without a doubt.

          To put some perspective on this, most of the amateurs I spar with are 5 foot 10, as am I, and we all weigh about 160 pounds walking around weight.

            How should I cut? Long cardio sessions every morning? I have class through the day, then boxing training at night Monday-Thursday.

              Nutrition is 90% of it.

              If you can eat healthy in moderate proportions you will shed weight.

              I lost 30kg over 3 months mostly from good nutrition and portion control.

              I didn’t bother calorie counting as i knew I did about 1,900 a day and burnt about 500 a day on exercise

                Always bears repeating. More pounds are lost via dieting than exercising.

                  Ok will watch for that. Do you think it would be ****** to run 3 miles then skip rope for 20 minutes right after or a good way to work stamina?

                    Depends how hard you run those 3 miles. If you do 3 miles in sub 20 minutes I will be shocked if you can do a single jump rope. If you coasted 3 miles in 45 minutes you can jump rope....
