  • Mouthguard for underbite?

    Hey,

it's about time for me to buy a mouthguard but it's going to be tricky -- I have a underbite, a strong one, I dare say. Does it matter? I would buy a normal boil & bite for upper teeth but my upper teeth are mostly behind my lower teeth so what safety would it provide? Or should I bite a guard for lower teeth instead when I have them in front mostly? I know the best option would be a custom mouthguard but that's something I can't really afford atm.

    Thanks!

You need to find a dentist who specializes in forming personal mouth pieces. It will be more expensive but their YOUR teeth so I would spend the money, as I did and had all my fighters do the same. A real form fitted mouth guard!
