Im from Cali so I couldnt tell you whos the best in NJ but what I can say is if you truly believe you have talent and can be successful in boxing competitively, find someone halfway decent thatll give you his/her FULL time and attention. Everyone wants to be trained by the Robert Garcias and the Freddie Roaches of boxing but these guys have little to no time with boxers that are not putting up the BIG $$$. They say those that cant do, teach. So with that said, someone with experience in boxing either good or bad & that fits your idea of discipline should be best. You are hiring them so look around and do some interviews. If you are not taking boxing competitively, than any gym or trainer should work.

^This. And, there is no "best" trainer other than the one you click with the best. Everyone has their own teaching style that some people take to, others don't.

When I boxed in NYC I found that the trainers from jersey were much better than the ones in NYC.

        I don't think you'll have a problem finding a trainer.

Wouldn't mind this myself. That or Elizabeth. Did'nt realize there are so many towns West of Newark on the local routes ie Union. Even Perth Amboy
