how efficient are tire flips in terms of improving general conditioning and explosiveness

  • #2
It requires tons of muscle type and area for the success so it'll improve Central Nervous System so it'll improve explosiveness very much from this theory so it'll be awesome. Damn i'm gonna flip some tires tomorrow , it wasn't making any sense to me till i think

Tire flips get 2 big thumbs up from me, just make sure you're lifting properly so you don't **** up your back, especially if you're tall.

perfect! i hate lifting weights. dynamic exercises like these are much more fun.

Well, the initial movement is like a deadlift,so that right there should target your entire core section, especially your lower back muscles. Not to mention your hamstrings biceps, and forearms. Once you get the tire halfway up,it becomes a mixture of a squat, and a press,so that right there gives you explosive quad power, and an overall strong upper body. Do some tire flips, and throw in some sprints, and you've got yourself a beast.

5'7 isn't short haha, tiny bit below average but it's whatever. I still flip tires but it took a while to get my technique basically perfect because my back was always hurting since I'm 6'4. Yeah dynamic exercises are definitely way more fun than lifting.
