When shadow boxing or hitting the pads, I notice that my right hand is in correct technique, but when I throw my right at the punching bag my elbow rises up. Is this a normal part of hitting the punching bags or am I too close to it.
Also when throwing the right, does anyone have any tips on how to put more body weight in the the punch? I tend to switch my shoulder position giving me more distance.
