my nose used to bleed off of a softish hit, but after it broke in one fight outside the supermarket it started getting harder to the start bleeding. just get used to it and learn to slip jabs and duck or lean hooks/uppercuts. also as you are leaning throw a shot of your own to the body

Ya when i first started sparring my nose used to bleed pretty bad. I did have troubles with nosebleeds for no reason when i was younger.

After sparring for a while it doesnt bleed as much, nothing like a faucet anyways.

I have fairly good defense with keeping my hands up and snapping my punches, im just starting to get the hang of slipping though.

      Thanks for all your advice/input.

my nose used to bleed everytime i sparred, not if it does bleed it doesnt drip from my nose unless i really get mauled. My nose doesnt bleed that much, i think because of all the hits.. the more u take the more resistant u become.. when i first started boxin my nose was really boney.. now its gotten softer and i am happy about it.. not to mention my head movements have gotten better so i get hit in the nose a lot less often, most of the hits i take are usually to the forehead and upper head.

I've broken my nose twice but not in any fights. The first time i broke it some kid ran into me after that i was gushing blood. I had had uncontrollable nose bleeds as a child but after I broke my nose it did not really bleed after that. I broke it again in a basketball game not as bad as the first but it did not bleed at all.
