What really defines good balance for boxing? What are the key points in a fighter having good balance and any example of a fighter that does? I'm trying to get this aspect of boxing down and trying to figure out the incatracies of details of this component. Anyone?

Mike Tyson in his prime would be a perfect example of balance. Tight guard and strong legs which allowed him to bob and weave without looking shaky and out of control. Even when he was aggressive he was in perfect control and never sloppy. Just tight and precise movements

you can determine how good someones balance is by looking to at how well there able to throw punches at any time.
GGG has great balance, he can throw whatever punch he wants at any time because hes always in his proper stance. watch gggs fights vs macklin and Rosado, they'll be backing up trying to get away and GGG is still throwing good shots, its beautiful

I know I'll get slammed for this, but some of the best boxing these days comes from the boring fighters, they are tight in the pocket - always elbows in, no openings, very tight, good legs etc... the good defense they have makes them the boring fighters ppl scream about.

To help with balance, imagine you are fighting in a closet (they used to call it fighting in a phone booth, but I doubt many kids know what the heck a phone booth is…lol.). You want to be efficient, not wild.
You want to be compact, don’t over reach with your hands or legs because not only are you loosing balance, you are sacrificing power. Good clean, crisp, compact punches in a small area of space. It sounds crazy, but let the fight come to you. If you are fighting compact your defense is going to be better and your opponent is going to be the one overreaching and making the mistake.
And it doesn’t even have to necessarily be boring. Mike Tyson was one of the best compact fighters early in his career. Because his technique was sound his hooks and uppercuts took up little space and generated a ton of power. When he was fighting compact like that, he was invincible.
