How to throw a long range left hook as a southpaw?

    Actually he would have been blocking with a front block expecting a straight and then the long hook would get through and if he kept his hands in the guard position or blocked the hook the straight would get through, so no need to reply cheers grey I can work it now! Just need to practice it on the bag first!

    Also as an additional beinfit especially with the vertical fist on the long hook it can go straight through his guard between his hands too! Expecially if he has a a very side on stance!

      This guy has very high quality tuition but he does things very differently!
      That looks like a right cross to me, not a hook.

      This is more of a long range hook to me even though his opponent was more to his side than at a distance in front.

        Yea thats a great definition of a long hook, at an unusual angle cheers mate thats helped me "get it" more!
