Originally posted by THE REED™ View PostWell, just getting over a stomach bug, puking for 3 days, havent worked out in a week, funny enough thats what got me into the 180's finally lol... before that, very good... 5 out of 7 days, an hour workout minimum, lifting/calisthetics/boxing, Id say 8-9 when Im actually working out, its all out.
What has worked great for me is that I have been going 7 days a week and I can not tell you the last time I had an off day. This is only a suggestion, but maybe try working out 6 or 7 days instead of 5. Try that for a couple weeks and see if there is any difference. Or, if time permits, try working out twice a day may 2-3 days out of the week. I know that you have work, your lady, and your daughter and those things get really time consuming, but if you can workout twice on some days, I believe that will help. For instance, working out early in the AM before work, then working out when you get time in the evening. Again, only a suggestion.
My personal workout time has been cut (not a whole lot, still get it in 7 days) with work, the family, grad school, and I am training an athlete now, but this summer I plan on working out in the morning and the evening. Actually can not wait to sweat in that summer heat.

THanks for the ideas web... one thing, which I know myself and I always laugh when I ask people for their advice, because it's like... I KNOW what to do, sometimes you just need some reassurance you know? I've gotten diet fatigue a little the last month, so my weight loss has slown down, but it's still progressing.
I'm gonna try either a run or jump rope session for taking my morning shower... I agree with you on some extra calorie burn.
I was just wondering, when you started getting lean and getting close to seeing your abs, did it get harder and harder or did it just keep going as long as you stayed on track?
Here was my results for last years p90x...

I was 188lbs this morning, so I look close to that right now.

Good question. It didn't get too much harder, it just kept going as I stayed on track. And for me, once I saw my abs again, that actually motivated me to go even harder. Dont want to sound cliche or anything, but that is what worked for me. Also, I trained with multiples layers of clothes and I recommend that to others as well. Like in the middle of summer, I had one sweat tops and thermals. LOL, some people thought I was crazy, but the more sweat=the hotter the body gets=more calories burned.
ok, I remember those pictures now.

Originally posted by THE REED™ View PostYup, I always work out in sweats... Yesterday it was 78, I went outside in sweats and jumped rope.... I love dropping water weight.. This thread is keeping me on track... once and awhile I get a case of diet fatigue, you just need a kick in the ass once and awhile to keep going, because I havent gone backwards at all.... Im now at the point where was when I ended p90x last year, which were good results, but I want to eclipse them.

Posted this on my Instagram/Facebook/Twitter accounts and I wanted to share it here in case someone might be interested.
Yo! What's up?! Back with another challenge for the month of May. This month will mark my one year transformation and I'm very excited! Fellas (and ladies, of course. But don't be scared that your arms will get too big, they wont!), join me in this #SleeveLessSummer Push Up Challenge.
Uhhh how can I do that many push ups a day? Its simple (well not really) , just break them down into sets and spread them out during the day. Like the last challenge I did, this will be broken down by fitness levels. Those levels are BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, AND ADVANCED.
There will be a set number of push ups for each week and as each week changes the daily push up amount will increase base on fitness level.
SO LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN! NO SLEEVES ALL SUMMER, LET'S GO!!
