Nice! Your last fight was really good.
You switched stance very well but I noticed you got hit a lot more when you went southpaw but you also countered a lot more.
Either way it was real exciting, hope to see your next fight very soon.

good luck bro. man, i hate the feeling before fighting. when bouts are going on and its almost time for yours. i always feel like running away and not even fighting haha. but once you get in the ring and hear them announce your name, all of it goes away

On the day of the fight I get excited. Can't stand still lol and just wanna get in the ring. When I'm in the ring I honestly don't even notice the crowd just my friends and my team and yes the nerves go away by then because the adrenaline kicks in.

I'm still experimenting. My coaches think I should go southpaw, I mean they've seen me spar a lot going orthodox and southpaw so they must see something you know. For me I honestly am comfortable fighting in either stance, when I go southpaw I feel that I don't get hit as much and I feel that I box a lot better(in the middle of the ring). When I'm orthodox I'm comfortable letting my power punches go. I guess I'm gonna be switch hitter.
Thats why you are more comfortable at southpaw.
But honestly remember last time I told you to go orthodox, like 2 long post about it.
Either way if you wanna be a switch hitter you need a home base.
Honestly that should be your orthodox stance bro.
As I said you got hit a loot more when you went southpaw.
You gonna slowdown the development in your lefthand honestly, you'll become a one handed fighter with no power in your left.
If you are a righty you are probably right eye dominate which makes you a massive sucker for the right hand when you stand southpaw.
Your cross should be your main weapon bro honestly, that is the most powerful punch.
And I notice people that convert and fight Orthodox fighters have a harder time to get inside range if the opponent have a longer reach.
Which makes it easier to get outboxed by a good boxer with reach.
Honestly converting to soutpaw is a novelty thing but for your development train orthodox as much as possible.
There is nothing magical about being a southpaw, which people seem to think.
Converting carries no advantages of a normal southpaw, who has the left cross /left hook as.
In short you'll give up the moste powerful weapon a boxer can have, the cross and you'll be a massive sucker for the right hand.
You'll also become one handed.
I don't know who your coaches are but honestly you'll shot yourself in the footLast edited by Mohammedini; 01-02-2012, 08:13 PM.
