do i have to keep losing weight to get ripped?

    Exactly. But I think you have something confused here: I think you think that less body weight=ripped, which isn't always the case. Less bodyfat= ripped, you are right. That being said, I can be 210lbs @ 6'1" and sliced, or I could be a fat slob at 210lbs @ 6'1". It's all relative to how much lean muscle mass/tissue I have. Got it?

    Start lifting weights if you wanna' be ripped. A good diet, and weight lifting will make you ripped in no time. What you're doing is losing too much weight, which in turn is making you lose muscle mass, which is exactly what you DON'T want to do. You want to lose fat, while maintaining muscle.

    Losing 50lbs in four months is not good for you, no matter how you slice it. That is completely unhealthy. You want a steady progression. Normally, they say losing 1lb/week while maintaining your current muscle mass, is a good place to start.

      thanks for the post. so lifting weights will make me rip and will reduce fat in my mid-section too right? im currently doing lightweights, high reps what do you think?
