I have been icing it. Any way to get rid of it by tomorrow? I don' want to stop training just because of my thumb

Sorry man but a jammed finger takes a while to heal. Nothing wrong with taking a break from boxing.

So I'm really going to have to stop training because of this? I told my trainer and he said stuff like that happens. Sort of told me to fight through it and stuff.

No reason you have to stop training. Just be careful with it. Go easy punching with whatever hand it is, and if you really want to be careful there's plenty you can do without actually hitting anything (shadow boxing, cardio etc)

          what's that supposed to mean?

One of my friends kept calling me a wuss, but I can't even bend it enough to put it in a fist

Still got your legs and another Hand no need to stop training..You can make gains in power and speed by focusing on one arm..Its an opportunity! After Icing for a day or 2 Switch to Heat..Hot Epsom salt soaks are real nice old school treatment..Take Advil while it's swelling and then aspirin after a few day..For me it's blood thinning effect seems to help move the Junk out of injured tissue..
