No difference, really, it depends on climate. If the climate is warm then sauna suit(mate out of plastic) works better then layers of clothing. If the climate is cold, then not so much as plastic tends to get cold really fast.
Its also true that either mostly dehydrates your body, it does help burn fat by keeping your body temperature higher then normal.

From personally experience I have found that working out with a sauna suit or layers of clothing makes you sweat more and that just makes you lose water weight but.............
I am also not a sweaty type person and need Alboline or a sauna suit to get me going and it actually helps me lose fat better in the long run. Even though what I'm losing right away is water weight, sweating does help in getting your heart rate up and reaching that target heart rate that helps your body go into fat burning mode.

I've never used albolene myself, is it one of these creams, and worth a shot?
I mean on top of everything else like nutrition and training?

It basically opens up your pores and helps you sweat. It's mainly used for cutting weight but like I said, I don't sweat much, don't know why and so I do use it sometimes to get me going so I can get a real good work out.
I wouldn't use it all the time or everyday though.
