Hi. well the tittle says it. how does someone get a back like bruce lee and not get huge arms like a body builder? if anyone knows can tell me what workouts do it?

I would imagine alot of cardio and pushups. Dont lift really heavy weights just focus on repetitions. Bruce's workout was crazy so good luck!

when you do pull ups dont try to get your chin over the bar, try to get body parrel to the ground and your midsection to the bar same thing if you use a rowing machine, row to your abs not your chin.
do a mix of close grip and wide grip pull ups focusing more on the close grip, but make sure to do both.
Punch alot.

That area you see in the pic that looks like a Cobra's head, is called the Lattissumus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latissimus_dorsi_muscle Look up "lat" workouts as they are known and you will grow that muscle. Will be hard to get the Bruce Lee look because it depends on your height and width of your body and I believe also how big your back blades are. Most of the workouts that will help it are pulling with a shoulder length apart grip. Whether your sitting on a chair pulling a cable with weights at the other end. Doing overhand pull ups. Or a pull down bar with weights on the other end. Those heavily focus your lats.

bruce did not want huge arms is arms were defined and proportioned to his size and overall physique this is what gave bruce power and speed if he would of pumped is arms up he would of lost some of the power and speed due to the difference in changing is natural comfort level

thanks for your replies. i will try to do more pull ups, every day now amixture of both wide close grip. i hope it looks like that by next year.
