  • Finnally joined a boxing gym!!!!

    And I ****in love it!! The workouts are intense. After my 1st day my body was all sore and stiff but i love it. The coaches we're amusing too cause they don't believe that i've never boxed before. And I never have but they say my form and technique is pretty solid and i always tell them it's because I watch alot of boxing. LOL.

    I need to improve my conditioning tho cause during the latter stages of the workouts i am laboring like crazy while others are still pushing hard. kinda embarrassing. Also cant wait to spar and test myself. Coaches said give it a month or so and i'm like " yea my stamina needs work ". But i'm excited to really feel what's it like to be in that ring and box.

    awsome. im joining one in a few days / a week. hope its good. for working on stamina do lots of work with weights. sounds weird but choose a weight you can rep 15 times twice then work on that weight till you can do it 50 times.

        to clarify i dont meen just this. obviously most of what you do should be road work. im just sating this is a good thing to add in as well.

          thats muscle endurance. its obviously great and important but totally different from cardio/long distance jogging etc
