I noticed I can sprint for much longer periods and have much better stamina when I'm on that stuff, but maybe those were just good days, who knows

However, I disagree about your view on what creatine is meant to do, and I am positive that it's primary use is to build muscle mass.

if you don't want any added benefits from creatine aside from its bodybuilding properties then its your loss.

Anyway, I don't see why a boxer would use creatine when the entire point of it is to build mass (which is what i believe the water weight is), and to help squeeze out a few extra reps in the gym. Maybe it's only with the ester ethyl creatine (cee).
If you do take creatine and you notice that you personally aren't holding any water, then you should monitor your body and look for any cramping or muscle soreness as a result of dehydration. I think it's a fact that taking creatine will require more water intake than if you weren't on creatine. I was drinking much more water just to stay hydrated. If it wasn't going into the muscles then I don't know where it was going
Well it does help increase muscle endurance. So I would think that if you took it and was boxing, you should as a result be able to train longer? Because creatine delays muscle fatigue.
I took on a more marathon runner type routine. So I cut away muscle in the process. Which is why I took EAS to keep from losing too much muscle strength. I was drinking a ton of water but I was doing much more cardio than anaerobic exercise. So I sweat alot out. 181lbs Cornerback Football physique and dropped to 153 in 4 months when I was taking the creatine. My best friend who was 145 and looked bigger than me and he was training for boxing.
This is exactly what I took.

Creatine isn't a bad option and I did consider it at one time, however it doesn't have it's full effect if you have caffeine in your system and hell, I like a coffee now and again, on the long run it is also proved it can cause kidney problems but I think that happens if larger quan****** are involved.
Anyway from what I checked out I agree it's mostly for creating muscle mass not necesarily to increase your endurance during work outs, think there are better options for that.

creatine makes u bigger not stronger, its to hold water so your weight will go up. getting bigger without getting stronger isnt exactly what u look for as a boxer. keep in mind as u get bigger u will also get slower and have less stamina. using creatine is basicly the dumbest thing u can do, u might aswell start throwing ricky hatton hooks, get a face tattoo and call yourself a mixed martial "artist" < (lol)
