You can train through a cold if it's a minor head cold, and not in your chest. You might just have to go a bit lighter than usual and might not perform at your best. But it might do well to rest for the day anyway, seeing as sometimes going too hard can make it worse.
If it is in your chest, and you have one of those real bad chesty coughs with all the phlegm and that ****, don't train, take a few days off.

I have asthma and a cold makes it worse. I get asthma attacks a lot more when I have a cold and I'm working out and boxing. I think it's all the chest congestion that cause me to have an asthma attack. I never get attacks when I don't have a cold. So I usually don't box or workout when I have a bad cold. I'll just drink plenty of water and orange juice and take cough medicine until it goes away.

You can fight, as long as you have a high fever. I've fought with flu, injured hands and so on, so a little cold, wouldn't stop me. It's not a heavyweight championship or any championship fight, so go get the experience my friend, cause fighting is way better then any other training you get. I seriously give a **** about my record, all I care about is winning and become better.

I think you can, but only if you're not that sick. The other day I started to feel a problem back in my throat, I knew if I went and hit the bag (as well as eat healthy, drink tea and get sleep) I would work it out and get better, and I did. That's just me and it was minor, you have to know your body too

my old biology teacher (a few years mind so he might have been wrong) said that you can 'sweat out' colds. i think it was something about heating up your body wich kills the virus, wich is why you sometimes get a tempriture. also taking medicen acturaly makes it last longer as they target the symptoms, not the virus. and seeing as the unpleasant symptoms are acturaly your body getting rid of it it is best not to take anything if you can
