  • some sparring and other vids

this vid was my 2nd day back in the gym mid sept i weigh 220 i was out the gym since feb due to a neck injury. i finished 3 months of therapy around summertime and i got back in the gym in sept. my 2nd day i sparred a super heavy who was training for a fight. he weigh aroudn 230 but thats what he walk around at. i was 220 but i couldnt workout while injured i was in pain for months just walking. im actually southpaw but sometimes i sparr or even fight orhtodox. i was alitle afriad that if i got hurt i wouldnt be able to box. but my neck has been held up and im 178 now and feeling good and turn pro this sumer as long as i stay injury free.

his is more recent stuff. the last 3 sparring partners i had i hurt with body shots. the most recent sparring i have is with my 3rd trainer in my team.
i hurt with body shot as well and havent sparred him since. i was sparring this kid who fights at 152 as well i took it extra light on him tho.

i herniated 2 discs in my neck training. i was sparring this super heavy and he clinched me somehow and my neck stiffend up and i kept sparring. i sparred again the next morning and again i got grabed around my neck and pulled in and my whole body like locked up. i took 2 weeks off but i barely slept i was in so much pain couldnt drive **** do nothing. i went to chiropractor n took mri and went through 3 months of physical therapy. all i did was that and eat. until i was heald and not in pain anymore. i think i was fine after 2 months but you know them want you to keep comming so they can get paid more. by time i was heald it was like summertime n enjoying summer n alittle afriad to get back in there that if i got hurt i wouldnt be able to fight

Damn! sounds like a pretty nasty injury, important thing is your ready go pro now, so good luck.

saw your vids, you look ready! you seem very comfortable fighting orthodox, use it when you turn pro.

I wish you the best of luck with your career man. I can't wait for the day I'm preparing for my pro debut lol but I'm waiting at least 2-3 more years when I'm done with college.

one thing i get hit too much orthodox. southpaw not much at all. and after a long valentines weekend today training was superhard. 2 words no legs. lol if you know what im saying. my legs was gone and cramping up on me even my arms was tired. but yeah im ready. im building up a professional style not an amature style working on making least mistakes. making every step and movement count. thats what im working on alot of catching firing slip fire turn fire.

I still train and fight amateur, while working full time and going to school full time. I'm at work right now (working hard lol).

It's more just a time thing. By the time I graduate college I will probably be 22 years old. I think 22 is a good age to turn pro. I will be really experienced by then and there will be no doubts in my mind that I'm ready.
