No, but you need to have at least 15 more fights if you want to fight as a pro. Mormeck only had 15 amateur fights, Margarito had 30.
Fight as much as you can and become a pro when you're 26/28. It's never too late, train properly, stay in great shape and you'll be able to make it. Skill and desire are the most important. If you have talent you'll achieve your goals, even if you don't you can make a decent career with hard work and determination; look at Freddie Roach.

I started boxing at 19, i want to fight as an amateur until 2012/2013. Then i'll probably become a pro.

It's all about when you and your trainer feel you're ready to do it. 2 fights is not enough. You need to grow up as a fighter and be involved in more fights before you turn pro.

i think having around 20 fights has a amateur, at ur stage will be ok

but u should still be protected as a pro after that period for a while but not like a chavez jr style.. lol

If you think like that, then yes - it is too late.

Train hard, don't give up, even careers can be made for those who are meant to only go down.

You're no Chavez Jr., you're you and it doesn't matter what age you start at before 25, if you have skill then you'll shine later on.

No! In fact i was right. Nate Campbell, not had a bad career. Just don't leave your hands down for people to hit you or let Timothy Bradley headbutt the **** out of you and you'll have a better career than him!
