hey guys i just want to no what u think about me and my future as a boxer ive done 14 lessons of boxing

    157lbs
    5''10
    left handed
strong body punches but very open defense
posible glass jaw (ill cover this later)
    bad stamina
    good footwork

so anyway ive sparred 3 times first time was with a dude about 5''7 but about 160 lbs same experience as me we sparrred and he launched at me so i swung back but got clocked and dropped flat on the canvass i saw stars and had a sore jaw and head afterwards it wa sonly like 5 seconds into the round coach asked me if i wanted to continue said i got caught cold so we wiped my nose and we sparred agen he came flying at me aGAIN so i clicnhed a few times then started moving away and caught him with a few jabs as he came in then he got me on the ropes and messed me up agen with a hook my legs went to jell-o and i stumbled across the ring and fell and coach stoped the spar my head hurt like hell and i couldnt walk stright my legs were jell-o had to lie down for like an hour couldnt train no more head hurt for like another day after

next week i sparred a dude who was like 5''6 and 140 same experience i tried to be long and jabbed and it worked for thw whole round one i was pleased his nose was bleeding and i won the round next round he went psyco and nailed me with a big hook i got jell-o legs agen and grabbed the ropes for support and then clinched he came at me again i jkept clicnhing till my legs were steady then i threw back an overhand left it smacked him clean and his helmet was torn off and he fell down coach stoped the spa r i felt like a king

next spar i sparred a dude who was like 6''0 and damn enar 180 we just wnr nuts throqwing wild punchwes to the head an body we both landed big shots for the whole round

next round i was tired as and he punched me across the ring into the ropes and whooped my ass for 20 seconds straight witht eh ropes holding me up then i clinched stepped back and jello-o legs got me agen and i dropped got up we kept sparring i was out on ym feet i dont remember nothingf im told we kept trading and i hurt him to the body.

round 3 i cant rememebr **** of im told we just kept swinging wildly and we were both tired and did nothing for the second half of the round

after that spar i remeberd nothing and had to go home ssaw doc next day sed i was badly concused

so anywaYs what y'all think of my future

a glass jaw and open defense....hmmmm....I envision a very short career with plenty of knockout losses and possibility of brain damage and punch-drunkedness.

    Work on your defense.

I just got back from sparring agen i sparred backyard boxing with my neighbour whos 6''3 and abouit 200lbs but he doesnt box

anyway we wore 10oz gloves and we spared i tried to move and circle while jabbign which landed a few times he came rushing at me and ate jabs and i kept moving then i landed a combo that snapped his ehad back and he threw a wild right which cracked me and hurt me then he ran at me and i stopped him with a jab and clinched then he kept running at me and i jabbed him agen

      wait finish later

so yeah ikept scoring with the jab and kept him off even though i was stilla little dazed then i landed a hook downstairs that took the wind out of him it was easy from there i just kept jabbign and circling and he was winded and slow and i landed 5 or 6 more good lefts then he called it quits his nose was bleeding and he had a swolen eye

anyway and i sparred at the gym last nite too, with a guy who was a 132lb open fighter with like 40+ fights. He was fast and hit me with everything i kept getting clocked and went to the ropes the trainer told him to ease off so he did and made me look dumb slipping my shots then right at the end of the round he landed a hook to my body and i was winded real bad. but i got a minutes break and we kept going he was real ****y and i landed a jab to his face then he got mad and threw a flurry to my head i went to the ropes and covered and he threw a few taps to my head then slammed a hook to my liver pain exploded all thru my body i thorught i might die i dropped onto the floor and rolled into a ball gasping for air nearly crying it was horible. trainer went nuts at the guy for dropping me cause he had more experience i think i made him mad by landing that one punch.

so after that the trainer did some one on one with me and he says i have potential just need to get used to gettign hit more.

Sounds like u seriously cant take a punch if every time to spar your getting jell-o legs and getting dropped.. There's nothing you can do about it.. I dont think boxing would be a good sport for you.. Ive been boxing 20 months got 7 fights and 100s of rounds of sparring and ive never been dropped or really rocked for that matetr and I get hit clean sometimes alot if im in there with someone with more experience..

In this sport you're gonna get hit and get hit hard.. You can have all the talent in the world but If every time you get hit hard you drop this sport aint for you

build up your neck to take punches better, and work on your footwork + defense you you don't get hit cleanly... that's what the coaches tell me all the time lol, but luckily I don't have a glass jaw

            edit...

isn't 14 sessions kind of a short time to start sparring? I started in may and didn't start sparring until late august

you should take a break, you are getting clocked to much, usually when a fighter gets knocked out he is suspended for a minimum 3 months,so take a year off,and learn how to fight starting from the basics first, before you even put on a pair of boxing gloves you have to learn how to throw punches, you seem like you throw wild looping haymakers and punching like that will get you nowhere,so stand in front of a mirror and just throw easy combos and as time goes by you will get better,
