and he barely lands those jabs.. in sparring his stamina would last few rounds and then u dont have to worry about jab.

It can be, but if you do it quickly they don't have time to react, and keep the parry small and don;t reach out and drop it down, just **** short and sharp and throw the right over the top

u parry a left jab with ur own right and quickly come down with a straight. You had it wrong.

Beating a fast jab, depends on the jab,is it hard, does it feel like a cross??Keep ur hands high, practice head movement!!But throw ur jab too!!Step with ur 1st jab as u double up!!Stepping into ur 1st jab, gives it extra pop!!Don't be afraid to jab with him, keep it pumping,u'll do well!!

I would like to give hard left, right, left, right body hooks a little like Tyson and Juan Diaz does, i can only imagine how much it takes out of someone.

              Anyone have thoughts on this?

Anyone mention a right cross if the jab is sloppy? thats also viable.

seems a few people have kinda suggested it. if hes droping his shoulder just get the timing down slip the jab over your right shoulder as you go in with an overhand right.

parry a left with your right and then throw a right? Nah, you need to re set from the parry to throw a proper right and by then they would have moved out of range or attacked you.

And no I didn't have it wrong, the parry cross scores a point nearly every time and I often use it to great affect.

Parrying with your opposite hand is very dangerous and normally isn't taught as main defense to the jab I'm surprised you have so much success with it. The parry he is talking about is a very faint tap down with the right hand almost en-route to you throwing it, there was a guy who I used to box with a few years ago in my gym who used to use that quick-tap down right hand to great affect and still does in the pros (Shout out Lionell ).

thats exactly what im talkin about, by the time u tap it and quickly come down his head would be in perfect position.
