alternative to vaseline?

Anyone know of any alternatives to Vaseline I could put on my face before sparring? I get pretty bad acne and this is starting to really agitate my skin

Get a headgear with cheek protectors and just vaseline the headgear.

Haven't laced them up since maybe 2008 so I can't really remember. I used to use the old open face joints so I would vaseline both my face and gear, but I did buy an expensive Grant headgear with the cheek protectors that never got used. Next time I'm in the basement I'll dig them out, curious now what the inside looks like.

I don't see those in the stores too often? Did you buy them online?

Yea, Grant never sold in stores, way too expensive. I think this headgear was $200-$250 brand new like 15 years ago. They used to have a website and it was a crappy bare bones site. Just looked for it now, couldn't find it. I think this is the exact headgear I have.

Agree with you. Only by overcoming any obstacles, you can achieve success, with vaseline or without. If you have some troubles with your skin use any antifungal soap after training to clean it. It is enough.
