Here's what it comes down to kid. Would you rather not have zits or would you rather become a world champion? You will face many obstacles in this sport, acne should be an after thought if you have visions in your mind. And if you do have visions, let them propel you...........Rockin'Last edited by Rockin'; 03-31-2021, 02:05 PM.

I used to use the old open face joints so I would vaseline both my face and gear, but I did buy an expensive Grant headgear with the cheek protectors that never got used. Next time I'm in the basement I'll dig them out, curious now what the inside looks like.

Never used it sparring, but put it on and didn't really like it. Felt like my visibility was limited. Or maybe it was just I was just too used to the old open face ones.
