Whenever I went to the gym I was looking to spar, from day 1. What fun is going to the gym if you don't spar?

Either way, with the marathon/sprint comparison, you put one foot in front of the other and train to do exactly what it is that you are going to be doing. It's the same with the fighting.

I am in no way stating that you should forget about the bags and floor work though. You get that done after sparring, except for shadow boxing. Build yourself as great as you can, while you can.

You'll never find the opportunity to do this again, so put your ballz in to everything that you do once that bell rings. You could surprise yourself...........Rockin'
Thank you, that last paragraph gave me a jolt of motivation I appreciate it and needed to hear that

I definitely love sparring so far and will bring up more sparring to my coach so he can set me up with others more often

That's a good routine. It will make you plenty physically fit to fight.

Not a bad looking routine, I'd add some rounds on the double end bag, maize bag and speed bag and I'd up the sparring to 2/3 times a week.
