Also.............80 full reps straight on a dipping station for a guy of his weight and size, hell fire, doesn't ring true! In the exercise I mentioned earlier this figure is more believable. 50 pressups is realistic though for a guy with Tyson's build.

I may be totally wrong though.
There is nothing unbelievable about this,Tyson was an elite athelete.Tyson was mainly using his own body weight and so that's achievable.Try lifting weights in the gym to increase your strength first.Afterwards your own body weight becomes so insignificant you can do so much stuff.Factor in the fact that Tyson was a professional, that's what he did for a living

from what i can figure tyson was not someone who enjoyed training, didn't he say in the berbick fight that he only did two weeks training for the fight? although im not doubting that the routine you posted is beyond him tyson was a physical specimen.

his speed and old school approach seem to imply that tyson did alot of calisthenics work. imo as he got older he concentrated on weights and that took away his edge in speed.

the routine posted seems believabe though, 50 press-ups isn't alot for an elite athlete, neither are the dips, 200 sit ups seems alot but tyson had a strong core and i remember he did a ridiculous amount of sit ups with weights as well. would be interested to see what his recovery time was? 10 sets does seem like alot.

seems like someone is exaggerating. Ive seen so many tyson "routines" that weren't even true.

run 20 miles a day. hit 100 rounds on the bag etc , come on man be realistic this is even far fetched routine look at any other boxer like roy jj routines this is waaaay too much

shrugs also work the back and the serratus anterior muscles along with the traps.

That's what I am saying. All that **** after your regular workout? Seems like over exerting yourself.

no way in hell...but i don't know...i got to the point that i was doing:

                    100 dips
                    500 push ups
                    100 pull ups
                    100 roman chair sit ups

but this was broken down into several sets...

he did this during the late 1980s and early 90s he did this after pads, bags, jumprope, sparing & slip bag
That's not that much really.I beleive i could be doing about 100 push ups an hour if it wasn't for all the bull-**** i'm going through just now.I can do 2 sets of 50 push-ups 1 after the hour without even breaking a sweat hardly .I beleive I could build myself into a big WW but hard work ain't easy.1 arm elbow in

After all his boxing training tho that sounds like a heavy ball buster.
