  • How do you use your gauze?

I recently bought a case of 50 gauzes...been using it under my handwraps. Basically I just wrap my fist like I always do with a regular wrap, but when I put wraps on top of it, much better than with just a wrap. With the gauze and the wraps, (btw I use the gold 180" everlasts) it just feels 'better' when I punch. I have this one spot on my small finger on my right hand, the first joint up from the knuckle, I have to put saran wrap on my little finger and then tape that to be able to throw big right hands and not be in pain..I know everyone's different I was just curious how you guys used your gauze

I only put the tape on the wrist. How the hell do the professionals get the nuclear bomb sites on top of their knuckles? I need to learn how to wrap my hands like that.

I just use the regular 180 everlast red handwraps for now.

    Hands are fine.

They have pads that are placed on top of the knuckle and then wrapped into the wrap. The pad is usually a sponge or rolls of gauze layered on top of each other.

          sponge!!! great idea
I meant to PM you back about those gloves, I'm bad with pms lately. I just don't know about buying used gloves man. When I use gloves I seriously break them in, like in a way nobody else could use them properly. My grip is ******ed strong on my right, it bends that band to conform to my grip. on my right with my new 140.00 reyes it's already warped to fit my right.

The big mound of padding on the knuckles you see professionals often have is from taking a roll of gauze and folding it back and forth on top of itself. Then put it over the knuckles and use another roll of gauze to wrap the rest of the hand. A sponge is a quick and easier substitue for when you are training.
