young kids maybe an hour 4 days a week
    teens maybe 1-1/2 - 2 hours 4-5 days.

There is something called over training, do 3 hours a day 7 days a week, for a beginning boxer and I can gaurantee you that you will be over trained.

listen to your coach and do what he says. If you feel good inside about fighting than do it...............Rockin'
oh my then i must be overtraining, my schedule is to train 3 hours a day but 6 days a week, 24/7 just sounds more badass but yeah i train 3 hours a day and im only 15, people tell me that im over training but i cannot feel it, i do not see it, my body is not stiff, my muscles do not feel as if they are about to explode. I can run 3 miles in 17 minutes, there is no fatigue in my step.

Many people have gone through my life telling me i cannot do this and i cannot do that, but what i've learned is that when someone cant do something, they tend to tell others they cant to. I dont allow other people to tell me where my limits are, or what i can and cannot do.

You can tell me that im over training, or that i cannot do this becuase it is "scientificly" not healthy, but the human body is far less fragile than everyone seems to think it is. You just gotta believe

Jumping into this way to fast. This guy doesn't sound like a lagit trainer, he sounds like someone that is trying to take advantage of you.

It takes years to get ready to enter a tourney IMO. At least a couple to get where you want to be.

haha well i hope that i go far in boxing, that is why i train so hard. I want to go pro and fight some big fights, eventually i want to fight for a world title and claim it of course but more than anything i would love to have atleast one fight in my career that would be a total all out war like Gatti vs Ward.
