I'm a phone booth fighter PERIOD. But, I've developed a nasty counter-punching attack.

After I soften 'em up w/ my brutal attack, I back off a lil and start to pick 'em off w/ counters, they get so hesitant in there, it's funny.

And what really f**ks 'em up, is that I'm a southpaw. Just by being a southpaw is hell enough for alot of cats.

My favorite counter, well, I get them used to me parrying their jab, when they least expect it, instead of parrying I slip their jab and simultaneously counter w/ a lead left. It rocks 'em everytime.

Agressive but i always stay calm. I use my jab a lot and i always throw in combinations, i very rarely throw just one punch. I throw to the body a lot as well.

When sparring i also like to just stay back and let my partner come at me in order to counter. But i do that for fun, i'm much more effective when i'm on the offense i think.

Versatility is key in life. As a 6 ft 4 Heavyweight at 260 lbs (current weight, I sparred at 245ish which is still fat) I have found that I'd be going up against guys four inches shorter than me with short arms, but they could hit better on the inside so I'd move and jab, move and jab...and it would work, 100% of the time.

Now other guys who are my equal height or taller, who have a better cross than I do, I would box them in a completely different fashion and I found this out the hard way by staying mid/long range with a guy who had a much, much better cross than me. I ate a good ten or so good clean shots because I ****ed around at longrange trying to jab and move against a guy taller with longer arms, ****** me.

Best thing to do against a taller guy who has a reach advantage, unless your jab is really really educated, compared to his....the best thing to do is jump on the inside and smother his long range punches by not allowing them to get full extension and get off hard looping power shots to the body first and then the head so they drop the guard...9 times out of ten you'll land a good clean headshot that way.

But I fight versatile, it all depends on my opponent...I can move and box and use the ring, feinting and jabbing at midgets or I can bull my way in like a midget myself.
