Hey, I'm Isaac, im 16, i starting getting into boxing, me and my friends are in a club. I just wanted to know what exercises or routines or training i should do. As of now I been lifting weights for about a year or so, I have nothing really written down on stone, sometimes when I have lots of energy I work out my whole body and do cardio, den take a day break, lately i been working out 2 parts a day. I also hit the bag once in a while. im taking amplifed mass xxx and whey protein. Any advice or pointers i sometimes spar and shadow box.

Wow, cool cheers on doing all that, mate. If you've already done some sparring you're already better than me, so the only advice I could give you is to not take that 'amplifed mass xxx' crap, and only take the whey protein after a workout. And if I were you I'd hit the heavy bag more and do body weight exercises.

Alright yea. I do. I been focusing on weight lifting too much. Do you have any tips about increasing my punching power, I know about the legs and using ur whole body, but I dont really understand. I have good speed, and i have a good power, my friends say, but I don't want to just stay like dat cuz its good, I wanna improve my fighting style. Im trying to become pro. Its my dream, Maybe im asking too much.

yeah, when you shadowbox, pretend you're trying to end something's life for at least a part of every round, even if it's just 30 seconds, that you shadowbox. A lot of people never shadowbox with proper enthusiasm.

^^^ He is a beginner dude.

Just get the basics down. Make sure you punch with proper technique when shadowing. Dont try to be like Pacman and throw a bazillion uppercuts and then 20 straights.

Punch with proper technique. Make sure everything has good technique. After that, throw some head movement into it. Once you got that down, throw some blocks into it. After a while, mover your feet. Pivot on your front foot in all directions. Once you got that down, you will realise that what you just did is what you actually do in the ring; Punch, Dodge, block.
              PROPER TECHNIQUE FIRST.

Then you can do all the "pretend you're trying to end something's life". If you choose to. Personally, im a more relaxed person and rather not pretend to end something's life. I get more tenacious and pinpoint; trying to do combos like Mayweather did to Gatti.

I don't know flicker, I wouldn't understate the importance of enthusiasm. Obviously technique is incredibly important, but enthusiasm is damn important too.

Anyway, you need both. Focus on technique, but throw in 30 seconds of intensity for me. I doubt you'll regret it.

lol at you not being able to read. What I was implying was that if you focus on technique for a 3 minute round you should at least throw in 30 seconds of pure intensity.

Anyway **** both of you guys
