This is the kind of thread that attracts every imaginable silly-ass response. The fact of the matter is your punching power potential is limited by your genes. If you want more power get yourself a new body. If that isn't an option, get yourself in boxing shape and learn how to punch. By the way, you also need to learn how to box. No amount of power will do you any good if you can't deliver it. That is why punchers like Sam Peter have such low KO ratios.

The heavy bag is your best bet for increasing puching power. Make sure you have some good training gloves and wrap your hands/wrists. Hit the bag as hard as you can, but use form. Punching wildly wont help you. Do five 3-minute rounds, and punch nonstop.

Read the full throttle conditioning by Ross Enamit. You'll learn that doing distance running that many times a week will catabolize all the muscle you may have. You'll never gain muscle running like that. You need to do interval training with higher intensity but shorter duration. Running at 6-7 mph for 30-40 min will burn up alot of muscles when your carbs are used up. You ain't going to get stronger like that.

you can increase the sharpness of your punches by hitting the heavybag, you can improve your tech by shadowboxing, you can increase you physical strength by lifting weights but punching power is god-given meaning either you have it or you dont. anybody who tells you otherwise does not know what they are talking about
