Yea after several days of no running, sprints or long runs i realize that I am sluggish, and dont have much left in the late rounds. I stay on top of it now, its a must in the boxing game.

Because it makes you fitter, it will never make you slower! That slow twictch muscle stuff is bollocks because you will be training at a different pace in the gym. Also, mix it up with a few fartleks and sprint sessions too. As long as you train to maintin your speed of footwork in the gym, all jogging will do is enable you to do it for longer therefore helping you to PROLONG your speed.

I too think about jogging and boxing. If one is to just jog, I dont think it will help much in tought times in the ring. I think it would be best to start out jogging and then up it to running with a few sprints through out. Maybe even throwing fast hands and moving your legs fast at the same time.

it'll be taxing as the air is much thicker and i think it'd help stamina when your back in hotter air

though i believe your vulnerable to disease(flu), esspecial considering your running

not sure though, i've seen a couple of people running in the snow, in light snow ofcourse

I can run without an ipod nowadays because I enjoy it so much. you are right about habing goals making it more enjoyable. i do not like negative attitudes towards training, and heard some people say circuits are boring!
the guys that say circuits are boring are probably A) doing a circuit an 8 year old can do or B) half-assing it
