  • Pain under my rib.. sorta floating.

After my good showing with the other boxers in sparring my trainer wanted to spar with me today.

And now after a few repeated body shots throughout the 3 rounds I went with just my trainer I can feel this bubble pain under my ribs... not actually my ribs though.

Like if I lift my left rib and poke up I can feel a bubble of pain.

Anyone ever heard of that or know what it is..? Haven't told my trainer yet. because I didnt feel it till I got home. (hour away)

Trainer still has alot of pop. 141-3 79 KO's out of puerto rico. I'll ask his pro record and and post his name ... though you might be able to find him if ya Google. Tito John 3:16 boxing gym Ocala florida.

I hate it when people worry too much and cry to the doctor about everything but in your case...

Get that checked out right away! Sound like you could have a hemmorage also theres alot of important **** in the area your talking about (ribs are supposed to protect that **** but...), such as your spleen, which can "poison" you and is pretty easy to pop.

Do you feel any extra pressure in that area? like theres something there?

I've had a pain on my left side, under ribs for years now. I was actually groaning in pain when I saw this thread.

I dunno.. maybe he just caught me good.. I started applying pressure really hard on it from the outside and it doesn't hurt.

But when I inhale and poke under the rib sorta deep it hurts fareal. But REALLY the 5-7 seconds after I stop poking it hurts... Then throbs then goes away.

Maybe its just a good shot he landed or sumthin... and when I lean on my left side it hurts also.

I'll see how it is after a week... Just wanted to make sure it was nothing because it started bothering the kid.

EDIT: oh and about the pressure .. yea it feels like a bubble is under my ribs.

That may be the result of a cracked rib. You will definitely know in the morning!

like Trrmo said, you'll know in the morning. try to be on here to let us know. and if your chest kills when you breathe then odds are your trainer is the proud father of a freshly broken rib.

Yeah dude could be broken rib, like peewee said if it hurts when you breathe probably is. I cracked a few of my ribs once and it was a struggle just to get out of bed without sounding like I was trying to have a **** !"nnnnnghhh"

hmm... no i guess its not broken...

,maybe it'll be gone in a few days... I'll never stop throwing my jab at my trainer if we spar again. Body shots really suck more than head shots.
