house rule at my gym is u have to spar with 16's, its kind of a **** move to spar with lighter, its sparring the point isnt to inflict pain

They are proper padded gloves not bag gloves though. And the ones at my gym are lighter than mine and are about 6's. Not many bring their own. Different gyms, different rules. It's not safe though lol.
