no offence but it wasnt good. you moved too much, and punches werent that good. nice effort but it was obvious he wasnt really trying, although all in all i guess its probably scary stepping in with a muay thai pro.

ya i've found myself in a sparring slump here lately...certain situations have caused me to have to hold back a lil lately on all..mainly just chillen tryna get some wind worked up..as most of all my conditioning right now is sparring...i'm a type of fighter who luvs fighting backen up...got tricks that way..so i do move a lot...i got other spar videos of me just baren down and fighten also...

You need to get over being glove-shy. You've got to learn to take a punch, accept the pain, and keep going. I think that's the hardest part of boxing. I know it was for me, anyway.

I'd suggest that you spar lighter, more often. As glove-shy as you are in that vid, it's going to take some work to get you ready for a bout.

                Stick with it.

It's one thing to bob and weave, another thing entirely to shy away from a punch. You need to stay in range and just accept that you're going to get clobbered every once in a while. Everyone gets hit, even the "untouchable" boxers. But in their first matches, you can bet they got hit. A lot.

Try sparring with your waist tied to another boxer with just enough rope so both of you are just at the end of glove range. Not hard sparring, mind you, just heavy enough to make you take your defense seriously. It forces you to stay in the danger zone and develop a more dynamic defense.
