one pretty good swim is a hypoxic pyramid, however this MUST be supervised because it can be dangerous
basically you have a 2,4,6,8,10,8,6,4,2 pyramid
each level of the pyramid represents the number of strokes you would take per breath; so basically 2 strokes, breath, 4 strokes, breath.....
you can also do swim sprints such as 10X100 and do sets of pushups and crunches in between sprints or whatever
i haven't done any of these in a long time cuz i'm not a big fan of swimming as a workout but it will get your heart pumpin for sure
